Common questions
How does payment work?
You're paid monthly per class taught, in your local currency where possible. Rates are agreed up front and depend on the language, role and experience level.
Do I need a teaching certification?
It depends on the role — for some languages we require recognised certifications (CELTA, TEFL, native qualifications). For others, native-level fluency and teaching experience are enough.
What equipment do I need?
A reliable computer, broadband internet, a good headset and a quiet space. We provide the platform, the materials and the scheduling tools.
Is this exclusive? Can I teach elsewhere?
No exclusivity required. Many of our teachers work with other platforms or private students. We just ask you to honour the schedule you commit to with us.
How long does the application process take?
Typically under two weeks: application, screening interview, paid demo class, then onboarding. You'll hear back at every stage within 48 hours.
What kind of contract is it?
Most roles are independent contractor / freelance, with hours you set yourself. Specific terms are described in each open position.
